A plain-language starting point. A signed proposal or service agreement should govern each engagement.
Services are provided only after the parties agree in writing on scope, deliverables, fees, timeline and responsibilities. JCrost will not access a client's systems, accounts, networks or data without explicit authorisation.
The client is responsible for providing accurate information, appropriate licences, authorised access, backups where required, a named decision-maker and timely approvals. The client remains responsible for its business systems and decisions unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
Work outside the agreed scope, emergency response, onsite attendance, third-party charges, hardware, software subscriptions and major projects may require a separate quotation. No outcome can be guaranteed where it depends on third-party services, unknown conditions or client-controlled systems.
Both parties should agree suitable confidentiality and data-handling obligations before sensitive information is shared. Security testing, scanning or production changes require written authorisation and a defined scope.
Payment milestones, taxes, currency, processing fees, cancellation and refund terms must be stated in the individual proposal or contract before work begins.
This page is a starter summary, not a complete contract or legal advice. Have a qualified professional review your service agreement, liability provisions, privacy obligations and applicable laws before accepting client work.
